Noah Ark's

Prophet Noah (PBUH) invokes Allah with Blessed Names

In July 1951, while a group of Soviet archaeologists were digging in an area in the valley of "KIEV", they discovered a scattered pieces of ancient wood, touched by the woodworm. This great discorvery made them to dig deeper and deeper, till they discovered another group of stony ancient wood that were further deep in the earth. A block of wood in the shape of a square 14 knots long and 10 knots wide. What made those archaeologistspuzzeled most, was the unchangable shape, the ineffectual of woodworm and it did not scatter like the other pieces of wood.

Geber Aka Abu Musa Jabir Ibn Hayyan--Father of Arab Chemistry

Geber, aka Abu Musa Jabir ibn Hayyan, was a prominent Islamic Alchemist, Pharmacist, Philosopher, Astronomer, and Physicist. He has also been referred to as "the Father of Arab Chemistry" by Europeans. His ethnic background is not clear; although most sources state he was an Arab, some describe him as Persian. Jabir was born in Tus, Khorasan, in Iran, which was at the time ruled by the Umayyad Caliphate; the date of his birth is disputed, but most sources give 721 or 722. He was the son of Hayyan al-Azdi, a pharmacist of the Arabian Azd tribe who emigrated from Yemen to Kufa (in present-day Iraq) during the Umayyad Caliphate. Hayyan had supported the revolting Abbasids against the Umayyads, and was sent by them to the province of Khorasan (in present Iran) to gather support for their cause. He was eventually caught by the Ummayads and executed. His family fled back to Yemen, where Jabir grew up and studied the Koran, mathematics and other subjects under a scholar named Harbi al-Himyari. After the Abbasids took power, Jabir went back to Kufa, where he spent most of his career. Jabir's father's profession may have contributed greatly to his interest to chemistry. In Kufa he became a student of the celebrated Islamic teacher and sixth Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq. It is said that he also studied with the Umayyad prince Khalid Ibn Yazid. He began his career practising medicine, under the patronage of the Barmakid Vizir of Caliph Haroun al-Rashid. It is known that in 776 he was engaged in alchemy in Kufa. His connections to the Barmakid cost him dearly in the end. When that family fell from grace in 803, Jabir was placed under house arrest in Kufa, where he remained until his death. The date of his death is given as c.815 by the Encyclop?dia Britannica, but as 808 by other sources.

Decisive Proofs of the Finality of Prophethood

Decisive Proofs of the Finality of Prophethood
an Answer to the Kafir Qadiani Cult
by Mas'ud Ahmed Khan

(Taken from http://www.masud.co.uk/ISLAM/misc/finality_mas.htm)

Written in response to Qadiani propaganda on the newsgroup soc.religion.islam

Dear brothers and sisters know that it is incumbent upon Muslims to believe that Prophethood has ended with the advent of Sayyidna Muhammad al-Mustafa Habib Allah (may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him). This belief in the finality of Prophethood has been an established belief of the Muslims since the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace). Every time a false prophet has arisen, the Muslims knew he was false because belief in the finality of Prophethood has been established as part of the Muslim's aqidah (tenets of faith).
A fitna in India arose in the latter part of the 19th Century in the guise of the Qadiani heretical cult who claimed prophethood for their leader Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadian (lanat Allah alay) despite all the evidence against such a claim. What I would like to present are some clear proofs from the ulama of the past, ulama that predate the Qadiani fitna so no one can accuse them of being biased. What you will see is that it is quite clear, without a shadow of a doubt that finality of Prophethood is something that is necessarily known as being part of the religion of Islam. Hence the rejection of this belief is Kufr and quite rightly the Qadianis have been declared as kafir by the leading ulama of this ummah then and now.

Islamic Inventors changed the World

How Islamic inventors changed the world From coffee to cheques and the three-course meal, the Muslim world has given us many innovations that we take for granted in daily life.

Was Islam spread by the sword?

Many non-Muslims, when they think about Islam, picture religious fanatics on camels with a sword in one hand and a Qur'an in the other. This myth, which was made popular in Europe during the Crusades, is totally baseless. First of all, the Holy Qur'an clearly says "Let there be no compulsion in religion".

In addition to this, Islam teaches that a person's faith must be Pure and Sincere, so it is certainly not something that can be forced on someone. In debunking the myth that Islam was "spread by the sword", the (non-Muslim) historian De Lacy O' Leary wrote: "History makes it clear, however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myths that historians have ever accepted." (Islam at the Crossroads, London, 1923, p. 8.). It should also be known that Muslims ruled Spain for roughly 800 years. During this time, and up to when they were finally forced out, the non-Muslims there were alive and flourishing. Additionally, Christian and Jewish minorities have survived in the Muslim lands of the Middle East for centuries. Countries such as Egypt, Morocco, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan all have Christian and/or Jewish populations. If Islam taught that all people are supposed to be killed or forced to become Muslims, how did all of these non-Muslims survive for so long in the middle of the Islamic Empire?
Additionally, if one considers the small number of Muslims who initially spread Islam from Spain and Morocco in the West to India and China in the East, one would realize that they were far too few to force people to be members of a religion against their will. Additionally, the great empire and civilization established by the Muslims had great staying power -- its citizens were proud to be part of it. The spread of Islam stands in contrast to the actions of the followers of Christianity, who since the time of the Emperor Constantine have made liberal use of the sword - often basing their conduct on Biblical verses. This was especially true of the colonization of South America and Africa, where native peoples were systematically wiped-out or forced to convert. It is also interesting to note that when the Mongols invaded and conquered large portions of the Islamic Empire, instead of destroying the religion, they adopted it. This is a unique occurrence in history - the conquerors adopting the religion of the conquered! Since they were the victors, they certainly could not have been forced to become Muslims! Ask any of the over 1.8 billion Muslims alive in the world today whether they were forced! The largest Muslim country in the world today is Indonesia --- and there were never any battles fought there! So where was the sword? How could someone be forced to adhere to a spiritually rewarding and demanding religion like Islam?

Ayat -- 56:33

In the name of Allah the Beneficient the Merciful
In the name of Allah the Beneficient the Merciful

Lets pay tribute to the greatest & beloved of all mankind, the light whose mere presence is the existance of this universe. All the Peace & Blessings of Allah be unto the Final Messenger Muhammad Sallahu Alihi Wsallam, because of whom we are what we are.

One day Ali, karam Allahu wajhahu, the cousin and son-in-law of the Holy Prophet Alihi Salat o Wsalam asked, “Oh Muhammad, both my parents shall be my ransom, pray tell me what the Lord Almighty created before all other beings of creation?” This was his blissful reply:

Verily, before your Lord made any other thing, He created from His own Light the light of your Prophet ,
and that Light rested haithu mashaAllah, where Allah willed it to rest. And at that time there existed aught else‑not the Preserved Tablets, not the Pen, not Heaven nor Hell, not the Angelic Host, not the heavens nor the earth; there was no sun, no moon, no star, no jinn nor man nor angel–none was as yet created, only this Light.
Then Allah – glorified be He – by divine decree willed the Creation to be. He therefore divided this Light into four parts. { 4 Forces in the Atom, 4 elements in creation Fire,Water,Wind,Earth}
From the first part He created the Pen, from the second the Tablets, from the third the Divine Throne.
Allah says in Quran:

إِنَّ اللهَ وَمَلاَئِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّوْنَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا اَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ آمَنُوْا صَلُّوْا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوْا تَسْلِيْمَا.

(56:33)

Verily Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet (s). O, Believers!
Send blessings upon him and salute him with a worthy salutation.
اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَى آلِ مُحَمد

In the name of ALLAH The Beneficient The Merciful

Asalamalikum, (Peace be onto you all)

I m starting this blog for posting Islamic teachings n issues according to Ahle Sunnah (Sunni perspective) . The posts will be taken across the Internet and wont be my own. Hope it will help you understanding different Islamic concepts.

I only require your donation in form of PRAYERS.

I decided to finally join the vast majority of my peers and start a blog. When deciding on a title and overarching theme for this Blog, I settled on one of my primary academic interests: Middle Eastern history, politics, and the role of Muslim communities in the Global community and how they influence world affairs. However, I will also use this forum to mention other current issues, Particularly the role of religion in modern societies and the Debate over Values.

Although I may not post as often as I might like due to my responsibilities as a university student with several on-campus jobs, I plan to use this blog as a forum to place my thoughts on a variety of issues concerning the "Islamic World," in addition to other Current Issues.

I hope that will provide some sort of intelligent record of one person's thoughts on the subject(s).
